Start Bright Futures:
Mission
Create Safe and Supportive Spaces
We offer a drop-in space where individuals can relax, unwind, and connect with staff, participate in creative activities, and work on personal projects in our workshop and art spaces
Engage with the Broader Community
Bright Start will actively engage with the local community by hosting and participating in events that promote inclusion and well-being, such as sporting days, back-to-school drives, public art displays, exhibitions, and more.
Promote Healthy Habits and Skill Development
Through structured programs, we assist individuals in building healthy daily habits such as physical activity, creative expression, and job-related skills, fostering a sense of purpose and well-being
Offer Sensory-Friendly Support
Recognizing the diverse needs of our clients, we will provide a sensory-safe space at local events, offering a quiet area and sensory tools like fidget play and art materials for those who need a moment of calm or a break from sensory overload.
Provide Supported Employment Opportunities
We will offer supported employment options through our lawn care services and mobile café operations, as well as provide mentorship for clients engaging in administrative tasks and group activities
